Message from Our Senior Pastor
Experiencing true closeness and intimacy with God, develops over time. While time is essential it can be very difficult to find. We must focus and then decide to commit time to our relationship with God. It is like when you are cooking in the crockpot or baking in the oven. It is not a microwave; it takes time to cuisine versus cook.
Even when you are growing plants, or when you consider how plant life and trees grow, you ask yourself what the essential needs are that are necessary for growth in the garden. Seeds, soil, plant food, sunshine and much attention. Plants or strong trees don’t grow overnight and neither do disciples.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 "But blessed is the man who trusts me, GOD, the woman who sticks with GOD. They're like trees replanted in Eden, putting down roots near the rivers— Never a worry through the hottest of summers, never dropping a leaf, Serene and calm through droughts, bearing fresh fruit every season.” (MSG)
A tree that is planted, and spreads out its roots by the rivers, draws from the abundance of water, and remains firmly fixed and shall be established. The trees will not sustain any damage throughout the seasons; the cold of winter and the droughts of summer. As a community of grace, the calling required of us, as a church is to trust in the Lord, and to live from him in every season of life. The image of the righteous or disciples is as flourishing trees that are refreshed by His living water. God is our source, and we need the power supply that comes from the river of life to grow us, build us, sustain us, to complete us, where we can be called oaks of righteousness.
Church family, I would like to invite you to join me in a time of consecration, preparation, and refreshing for the New Year. I believe that when we come together with prayer and fasting, seeking the father with the right motivation, He will open to us the mystery of His will and we will experience His great rewards. Let’s trust Him.

FASTING FRAMEWORK
Simply stated, biblical fasting is refraining from food for a spiritual purpose. The idea is to be realistic, NOT legalistic. Focus on the details of connecting with God rather than the details of the menu, and you will discover the blessings of fasting. The details are not as important as the spirit in which you participate.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 4TH BEGIN THE “DANIEL FAST”
The FAST begins when you rise.
Over the next 21 days your meals should consist of fruits and vegetables. Substitute your regular food intake with those disciplines that help you better connect with God; reading the Bible, praying and journaling. The overall goal is to experience a genuine hunger for spending time with God.
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY NIGHTS DURING FAST @ 6 PM CORPORATE PRAYER
Corporate prayer is an important part of the fast. The church will meet each MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY evening at 6 pm to pray together. When we pray together the effects can be very positive. Corporate prayer edifies and unifies us as we share our common faith.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25th END OF DANIEL FAST
Join us the last night for corporate prayer.
