Message from Our Senior Pastor
In John 4:34, Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.” Jesus, being weary of the journey, understood that the great design of His life was to do the will of God. God created us for the same purpose. We have sailed through a crucible and we are grateful for the Father’s faithfulness.
God desires for us to be healthy, so we must Engage, Connect, and Grow.

In this New Season, my desire for our church is to

  • Engage and commune with our Father so that He may instruct, guide, and strengthen us individually as well as corporately in this New Year.
  • Connect in authentic community, sharing the joys as well as the struggles of life, praying and fasting together, believing God for big things.
  • Grow by studying the biblical truth of God’s word, which inspires, and actively apply His truth to our lives with enthusiasm

Remember that our Father is BIG, therefore we are BIG as well…Born Into Greatness.

Intentionally  Praying and Fasting guides us into having wonderful encounters with God that change our lives for the better. You are invited to journey with me and take advantage of the opportunity for prayer , to have honest communication with the Father, and fasting , which heightens our spiritual awareness to listen. These Spiritual
disciplines will enlarge our capacity to hear from God and discern His will for our lives, personally as well as corporately, providing the answers we need for the future.

God Bless You,
Pastor Terrance Youman

Simply stated, biblical fasting is refraining from food for a spiritual purpose. The idea is to be realistic, NOT legalistic. Focus on the details of connecting with God rather than the details of the menu, and you will discover the blessings of fasting. The details are not as important as the spirit in which you participate.

The FAST begins when you rise.
Over the next 21 days your meals should consist of fruits and vegetables. Substitute your regular food intake with those disciplines that help you better connect with God; reading the Bible, praying and journaling. The overall goal is to experience a genuine hunger for spending time with God.

Corporate prayer is an important part of the fast. The church will meet each Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6pm to pray together. When we pray together the effects can be very positive. Corporate prayer edifies and unifies us as we share our common faith.

Join us the last night for corporate prayer.

Focus on the details of connecting with God rather than the details of the menu and you will discover the blessings of fasting.
